A Helping Hand for Rural Communities

Many people in South Australian rural communities are feeling the pinch and looking at a bleak future due to the late break to the season and continuing low rainfall.

The South Australian Country Women’s Association Inc. is already receiving donations to help rural people in ‘necessitous circumstances ‘, including donations from Dick Smith Foods and the Australian Hotels Association through “Parma for a Farmer”.

We encourage all South Australians who are in better financial circumstances to support this work by donating to the SACWA Emergency Aid Fund which has DGR (Donor Gift Recipient) status. All donations of $2 and over will receive a receipt for taxation purposes. All administration costs are paid by SACWA with 100% of donations going to those South Australians in need.

Without strong rural communities the whole of SA suffers. Remember, everyone needs a helping hand sometime.
