About

about

SACWA is the largest women’s service organisation in South Australia with almost 100 branches across the state. We are a network of women dedicated to mutual support and community service. Our branches and committees offer many opportunities to share your skills and knowledge, learn new skills, build friendships and support the South Australian community.

We provide valuable assistance to those in need through a wide range of financial and practical supports. SACWA fund raising activities enable it to continue to support women and children across South Australia. The SACWA works with relevant agencies to provide support through the provision of financial aid to those in need through our Emergency Aid Fund. Members donate new clothes and toys for free baby parcels, given to mothers who need extra help for their new baby.

The Association has holiday accommodation at several beachside locations and at the B&B on Dequetteville in metropolitan Adelaide, where members and the public can stay at very affordable prices.
